Affiliate Relationships
Piedmont Community Services works with a large number of established private providers and an increasing number of new providers or services for consumers who qualify.  There is a joint effort with PCS and the affiliate to match consumers with the provider of their choice in workshop settings, sheltered workshops, day support services, residential settings, including group homes not operated by PCS.  In each particular setting, families are involved as much as possible.  Affiliate providers offer valuable work experiences and supportive encouragement, leading consumers to new responsibilities and increased self-esteme.
