Hourly Workers

  Assist adults with physical and intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder in their home or in a group home.  Preferred qualifications:  Experience with ID/MR individuals and/or CNA. High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.  Responsibilities include training in independent living skills, personal care skills, transferring to and from wheel chair, housekeeping skills, and recreational activities in the home and community.  Must have ability to multi-task and document clearly. No FRINGE benefits. Excellent part-time position with work hours including evenings and weekends. Salary: $9.00 per hour.
ICF-MR/ID HOURLY WORKER CS-CORP-5 On an as needed basis.  Hours may vary and may include weekends, evenings, and/or holidays.  Needed to work in ICF-MR program in Martinsville, VA, serving adults whose primary diagnosis is intellectual disability.  Duties include training in independent living skills, personal care skills, housekeeping skills, and recreational & leisure activities in the home and the community.  Position will include evening and/or weekend hours.  Must have ability to multi-task and document clearly.  Must have knowledge of Active Treatment component in an ICF-MR program.  High school diploma or GED required.  Residential experience required.  ID/MR experience preferred.  Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.  NO FRINGE BENEFITS.  Hourly salary is commensurate with education & experience as it relates to the position.  OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
EMERGENCY SERVICES COUNSELOR CL-100-2 Contractual position needed for the Martinsville/Henry County office.  Provide crisis intervention services on a contractual basis, focusing on screening and assessment of adults and children experiencing acute behavioral health symptoms.  Evening and weekend shifts available.  Position requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or nursing leading toward professional licensure.  Salary is commensurate with education and experience as it relates to the position.  OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
THERAPEUTIC DAY TREATMENT COUNSELOR FC-410-11 Counselor needed to provide school based counseling services in Franklin County.  Duties include providing individual and group counseling, classroom interventions, life-social skills training, & case management with daily clinical documentation. Individuals interested in applying need to have a minimum  of Bachelor’s degree in human services field, certified as a QMHP-C, with one-year of clinical work experience.  Salary is commensurate with education and experience as it relates to the position.  OPEN UNTIL FILLED.

MENTAL HEALTH CASE MANAGER PC-320-9 Provide case management services to adults and children in the Patrick County area.  Assure individuals receive the appropriate services to assist them in accessing needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational, & other supports to meet their basic needs.  Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred with one year experience of direct care or any equivalent combination of training and experience.  Applicant should demonstrate knowledge, skills and abilities related to assessment, treatment planning and appropriate documentation.  Salary is commensurate with education and experience as it relates to the position.  OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
ID/MR CASE MANAGEMENT SUPERVISOR/COORDINATOR CS-320-6 Responsible for the development & continued growth & maintenance of the Mental Retardation/Intellectually Disabled (ID) case management system.  The position provides direct supervision of case managers for the intellectually disabled in Henry, Franklin, & Patrick counties. The position is a member of the Community Support Services Management team.  Masters degree preferred and bachelor’s degree required in a human services related field (Social work, Psychology, Counseling, etc.).  Demonstrated knowledge of the principles & practice of case management services for the intellectually disabled.  Must meet QMRP criteria and have two or more years of providing supervision within a mental disability services setting.  Salary is commensurate with education and experience as it relates to the position.  OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
MENTAL HEALTH CASE MANAGER FC-320-4 Provide case management services to adults and children in Franklin County.  Assure individuals receive the appropriate services to assist them in accessing needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational, & other supports to meet their basic needs.  Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred with one-year experience of direct care or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.  Salary is commensurate with education and experience as it relates to the position.  OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
CASE MANAGER/BEHAVIORAL CONSULTANT YE-320-3 Needed on the children’s unit to provide flexible services to court involved youth.  Must meet QMHCM criteria and have a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field, along with three years experience working with SED or At-Risk Youth.  Suitable candidate demonstrates knowledge of Child Development, DSM-IV, behavioral analysis and principles, psychotropic meds, substance abuse, clinical intervention/theories, CSA, Juvenile Justice System, Licensure/Medicaid Regulations for CM, and resources.  Ability to work in a collaborative manner with Probation officers and community agencies is essential.  Salary is commensurate with education & experience as it relates to the position.  OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
ID SUPPORT COORDINATOR CS-320-7 Provide support coordination & case management services to adults and children with intellectual disabilities (ID).  Assure that individuals receive appropriate services and assist them in accessing needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational, & other support services. Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field & one year experience working with the population preferred or any equivalent combination of training & experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, & abilities. Experience with assessment & service plan development desirable.  Must be computer literate. Salary is commensurate with education & experience as it relates to the position.  OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
VAN DRIVER CS-514-5 Needed to work in a Psychosocial Services program (Franklin County Horizons) in Rocky Mount, Va.  Provide transportation for adults with mental illnesses up to 25 hours per week.  Duties include driving 12 and 15-passenger vans & minor maintenance checks.  Responsible for transporting clients to and from the PSR program, as well as van maintenance inspections.  High school diploma or GED required.  Must have a valid driver’s license & good driving record.  Salary:  $8.82 per hour, no benefits.  OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
