Entry level position into residential services career. Preferred qualifications include high school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license & good driving record required. Salary: $9.00 per hour, no benefits.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE/DUAL DIAGNOSIS CASE MANAGER CL- 320-1 Provide direct & indirect case management services to adults who have primary substance abuse /co-occurring DSM-IV TR diagnosis. Knowledgeable/experienced in providing activities & services to assist individuals in accessing needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational, vocational, and other supports essential to meet their basic needs. Will address substance abuse and mental illness disorders. Bachelor’s degree in a qualifying human services field with one-year substance abuse related clinical experience. MENTAL HEALTH CASE MANAGER CL-320-6 Provide case management services to adults in Martinsville/Henry County. Assure individuals receive the appropriate services to assist them in accessing needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational, & other supports to meet their basic needs. Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred with one-year experience of direct care or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. OUTPATIENT THERAPIST PC-310-6 Provide assessment & treatment to adolescents & adults with mental health & substance use disorders in Patrick County. Masters degree & minimum one-year experience working with MI & SA population required. Successful applicants must meet Virginia Medicaid qualifications for Licensed Mental Health Professional or be licensed eligible. START COORDINATOR AD-3 Description: The START Coordinator will provide crisis prevention and intervention services to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and behavior health needs, their families/care givers, support providers, and community partners to strengthen treatment/support efficiencies and service outcomes. The START Coordinator serves as a vital community education resource and coordinates admission into START services. (START: Systemic-Therapeutic-Assessment-Respite-and-Treatment.)

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited university with at least a Master’s degree in a human services related field and two years of experience working with ID/MH or a Bachelor’s degree in human services related field and five years experience working with ID/MH individuals. QMHP and QIDP status required. Must be certified by the Center for START Services within 12 months of beginning training. Driver’s license and acceptable drivers record are required. Must be willing to travel with occasional overnights. Some rotating evening and weekend on-call is required.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist CS-514-3 Provide psychosocial rehabilitative services to adults in Franklin County to improve and maintain quality of life in a structured group setting through motivational activities including socialization and self-help skills training. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, valid driver’s license, & good driving record required. Bachelor’s degree and one-year direct–care experience or equivalent. Must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT SPECIALIST CL-310-7 Needed to serve individuals who are at high risk for psychiatric hospitalization. Provider will work as part of a crisis stabilization team, using a recovery model. Request lived experience with MH/SA challenges and the ability to demonstrate at least one-year of personal recovery. Salary is commensurate with education & experience as it relates to the position. ICF-MR/ID Technician CS-CORP-3 Needed to work in ICF-MR program in Martinsville, VA, serving adults whose primary diagnosis is intellectual disability. Duties include training in independent living skills, personal care skills, housekeeping skills, and recreational & leisure activities in the home and the community. Position will include evening and/or weekend hours. Must have ability to multi-task and document clearly. Must have knowledge of Active Treatment component in an ICF-MR program. High school diploma or GED required. Residential experience required. ID/MR experience preferred. Must a have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. ID IN-HOME MANAGER CS-315-1 Needed to oversee in-home services provided to individuals who have a primary diagnosis of intellectual disability. Duties include developing & implementing individual service plans, working effectively with families & significant others of individuals, supervising direct support staff, providing training for staff, ensuring quality care & documentation required by licensure and PCS, regular on-site supervision of staff and experience with person-centered planning/thinking. Must be organized, be able to multi-task and document clearly. Experience working with individuals with ID, program management, and staff supervision preferred. Flexibility of hours required. Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required. Must have or be eligible for QMRP/QIDP. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AD-5 Provide administrative support to the Executive Director & other agency staff. Professional & effective oral & written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based capabilities. Assist with employee benefits reconciliation and preparation for Board of Directors meetings monthly. Maintain files on agency properties. Requires high-level of confidentiality dealing with sensitive information. Experience in general office duties.
