access to services

Piedmont Community Services provides treatment services to individuals and families to help with developmental, emotional, mental health, and substance use disorders. Residents of the localities served by PCS (Franklin County, Henry County, Patrick County, and the City of Martinsville) may access services by coming into one of our three office locations Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (except holidays). Staff will provide screening and assessment for recommended services and every effort will be made to see individuals and families on the day of the request for care.

FEES
It is the policy of Piedmont Community Services to serve all local residents in need of assistance. We are obligated to collect the cost of treatment provided from third party payers and from individuals and families who are able to pay.

No one will be denied services due to an inability to pay. Every effort will be made to set fees fairly, according to the ability to pay.

Payment is expected at the time of service.

Things to bring to your first visit:
Health Insurance Card

Verification of Income if No Insurance (examples: copies of current pay stubs, most recent W-2 form, assistance checks, or retirement checks)

Court Documentation (examples: court orders for treatment, guardianship, Legal Custody Agreements)

Current Medications or Medication List

If the assessed fee creates a financial hardship, an appeals process is available.
